Hold yer diaries folks, cos this is gonna be the best summer yet for music lovers. David Clayton and Chris Martin have taken the reins of Platform 3 and look at what they have come up with, top musicians from far and wide along with great local talent.

With a monthly Blue Friday and Jazz Sunday series, and lots of rock and acoustic sessions, there will be something for all tastes, the common theme being talent and quality every week on the best outdoor stage for miles with its very own pub attached :) Bring it on!

Garron Firth – 30th June

Garron Frith is a musician from Manchester, England who is steadily building up a reputation as a great live performer and an original songwriter. Over the last few years Garron has performed headline shows across the United Kingdom and Mainland Europe and has opened for many acts including Peter Green, Madeleine Peyroux, Jack Bruce & Robert Cray.

FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH are a super-charged, female fronted heavy rock band from West Yorkshire, UK, formed in 2008. The band members are Kat Birch (Lead Vocals), James Preston (Lead Guitar), Craig Freeman (Lead Bass) and Mark Lightwood (Lead Drums).
